I had a NEWS button that I dragged to the toolbar from the customizations in
MSO 2003. One day I clicked on the NEWS button and it brought up a folder of
files instead of the news. I attempted to drag it back into the customize
window. It disappeared and now I can't get to NEWS from Outlook. I did a
repair and it still is nowhere to be found.

No question has been answered more often in this group.
To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express.  If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.

Thank you for answering once again. It worked. I had checked that page and
didn't even note the empty text box.
