Outlook sends mails in "Rich-Text" since SP2

Hi,

I have problems with SP2! Since I have installed SP2, Outlook always
sends
mails in "Rich-Text" though in Outlook's options Tools --> Options -->
Mail-Format
is configured that new messages will be send in "Plain-Text".

I figured out this behavior when I sent an email with
an attachment to users who are using outlook express. All receipients
told me that they
have not received an attachment. Receipients of this mail which are
using Outlook
received the attachment.

Below you can see a part of the header:

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

------=_NextPart_000_0008_01C5D25B.AF89AEA0
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

As far as I know this entry is correct but below you see an other part
of this header:

------=_NextPart_000_0008_01C5D25B.AF89AEA0
Content-Type: application/ms-tnef;
name="winmail.dat"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: attachment;
filename="winmail.dat"

Receipients who are using Mozilla Thunderbird are receiving an
attachment
"winmail.dat" anyway. Outlook Express users don't see anything!

Could someone help me to get rid of this bug? I don't want to uninstall
my
office completly!

Regards from Switzerland
Ben

Have you tried toggling the option (i.e., turn it off and then back on, or
visa versa)?

Have you tried using Help -> Detect and Repair?  You'll need the install CD.

Are you referring to Outlook 2003? Do you have any addins installed in Outlook?
