How do I add the Unread folder in Outlook Inbox Favorite Folders?

I have permanently deleted the Unread folder in Outlook. It is located
directly under the Inbox folder and lets me know how many unread messages I
have. It is also italicized. I really like that function and would like to
know how can I get it back?

Right-click Search Folder and choose "New Search Folder".  Click OK.

Thanks B.

I chose the New Search Folder and it selects Unread by default. So I clicked
ok. But now I see that the Unread folder is in two places because I clicked
and dragged it to my favorites folder (which is where it was in the first
place) but now that has caused me to lose my follow up folder...What should I
do now?

Did you try creating a new one of those as well?  Search folders aren't
really folders.  They're just common searches that Outlook presents in a
folder style.
