Is it possible to send a voice email in outlook 2007?

I am not on an exchange server or whatsoever.

I only wish to send voice recording to my friends via email.

You can send a recording as an attachment.

And you care why?  Since you can't get OL2010, whatever it might have
won't help you now.  You were asking about voice messaging in the
current version of Outlook but you weren't really interested in using it
if it did exist?

From what I saw at
http://www.techrepeater.com/2009/04/outlook-2010-screenshots/, you get a
control to handle the recording.  The audio file gets attached to the
e-mail.  You can do that now but will need to use a recorder that isn't
yet embedded into the existing/available versions of Outlook.

What all the fuss for? I am curious if it will happen in outlook 2010 since
I see it in the screenshots.

voice mail in outlook 2010 will be the same as in 2007 - if you use exchange
with unified messaging, you will have your voice mail delivered to your
inbox.

if you want to send a recording, you need to send it as an attachment.
