Needing help with my first form

Hi folks,

This will be my first post so hi.

I've been asked to design a Laptop pool form for the company. The form should be able to record who in the company has a laptop and for how long.

I imagine this is quite strait forward. the form should have a couple of drop downs and a couple of text boxes to save the persons details. Then, when they save the info, it should enter into that day of a Calendar.

If the entry is clicked, i'd like a form to pop up with the details of that person and who made the booking of that lap top etc.

That's it. There's not a great deal of info that I can find on the Net. I was hoping I could get help; perhaps someone knows of articles or books that will help me with my specific design?

Hope someone can help and thanks in advance.

Cheers

This is best asked in the programming forms group, which I see you found.
