Folders in Left-hand columnI recently had to reinstall Outlook 2007 after a computer system restore.
Outlook now lists Archive Folders (and sub folders) in the left column under All Mail Items and all previous data I was able to import are now listed in folders under Archive Folders, including INBOX, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Saved Email, etc. There is no "Personal Folders" folder in the left column under "All Mail Items". How can I correct this? I would like to move all the subfolders currently under Archive Folders to a newly created "Personal Folders" in the "All Mail Items" column. if you create a new appointment or contact, where do it go - into the
appropriate folder in the Archive? If so, that is set as default and you need to add a new pst using File, New, Outlook data file (or open your old pst using the file, open... ) then set the pst you added as default. Anything you want in the default pst will need to be moved to it. -- Show quoteHide quoteDiane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-requ***@lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQU***@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Everything in Outlook seems to be working normally except that all mail is
stored under Archive Folders.which is listed under "All Mail Items." My email subfolders: Inbox, Seent Mai, Delete Items, Drafts, etc. are listed under Archive Folders. There is no "Personal Folders" and I can't seem to create a Personal Folders in the "All Mail Items" into which I could move the subfolders currently under Archive Folders where. my emails are saved in the appropriate folder (mostly in Deleted Items). Also, where does one designate default folders? Thanks for the help.
