Sharing Outlook on a Vista PCSure this must be simple but I dont see any previous topics and cant find
anything by searching the internet. I run Outlook 2007. All I want to do is allow two users on the same PC to see exactly the same thing. So if one user downloads mails (which is then distributed to various folders), the other user when they log in can see exactly the same mail (in their various folders). I dont run any Sharepoint servers or Exchange..... ;-) replyINgr***@nowhere.com wrote:

Be aware that if you use Fast User Switching you need to CLOSE Outlook before you switch User. Both users need to be using the same data file (*.pst, outlook.pst being the
default name) Only a single user can use outlook at any one time The Vista default location for the pst is C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook With Outlook closed you would need to move the pst to a location that both users can acess Then with user1 open outlook, it will complain, point it to the location of the moved pst. Close Outlook, log on user2, start Outlook, use Data Management to add this common pst, set it as default, remove the old pst <replyINgr***@nowhere.com> wrote in message Show quoteHide quote news:0zJul.51886$Yl7.4622@newsfe30.ams2... > Sure this must be simple but I dont see any previous topics and cant find > anything by searching the internet. > > I run Outlook 2007.
