open 2nd mailbox from a profileI have 2 profiles, one for work (using Exchange) and one for personal.
I was able to open my personal mailbox/calendar from the work profile by opening the local outlook data file. However, I have not been able to figure out how to view the work mailbox/calendar from my personal profile, since the work mailbox/ calendar is not in a local outlook data file. (I don't need to connect to the work mailbox/calendar, just to view it offline). Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks! It would not be available offline but you can always use OWa.

When an Exchange account is in a profile, it tends to take things over. For example, Exchange wants to store your rules, even they're client-side rules. My approach would be to make periodic PST copies of the data in the Exchange mailbox and add that PST to the personal profile. If you don't update the data in Exchange that often, the process won't be particularly onerous. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] On Feb 24, 4:54 am, "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]"

Would it be possible to create a macro/script to automatically copy the data over each day? Make a second calendar in your personal pst and copy the work calendar to it
occasionally. I'd probably create a view that shows the created date and sort by it, copying everything that was created since the last time I copied the data over. -- Show quoteHide quoteDiane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-requ***@lists.outlooktips.net Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQU***@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
