Replacing Inbox folder ?

Unable to change view settings in my Inbox folder, as previously posted, I
now wonder if there is a way to replace the Inbox folder and move all
existing messages to the new one.
All other folders, even sub folders of Inbox work normal so that only this
one folder needs to be replaced if that can be done.
Anyone know how?

You can replace all your default folders with a new set of default folders
and move the contents of the old set to the new set.  You can't replace just
one default folder.

Hi

I saw the postings and wondered if you could point me
in the right direction. (Otherwise it's Beachy Head for me! LOL)

I know I have trashed my Outlook 2007 settings and probably my Windows
Mail ones as well.

I should know what I am doing but this one eludes me.

Is there anywhere I can see a step-by-step walk through as to how to
repair it all?

The only other way I can think of is to reinstall Vista Ultimate,
Office 2007 and everything else on this PC and I really would prefer
not to have to do that.

Hoping someone can assist.

Regards - David
