Move to folder rule is copying to folder, not movingI set up rules to move messages from a particular sender to a particular
folder. But outlook is just copying message to folder so I end up with a bunch of duplicate messages. I checked the rules settings and it IS set to MOVE and not COPY. Anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks This happend with me as well, I have no other option left then to
reformat the entire system and setup outlook once again.

acts on a particular message, no rules after it will act on that same message. -- Show quoteHide quoteJocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "d" wrote: > I set up rules to move messages from a particular sender to a particular > folder. If you want to save copies of messages that don't match the rule, you can have a catch-all rule that moves a copy to Sent Items. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
