Sorting messages by read/unread

Hi,

I want to permanently delete some messages from my Deleted Items folder.  An
easy way for me to permanently remove the spam I get is to delete my unread
messages that I trashed.

I was able to put a view column noting if a message was read/unread, but it
won't let me sort the messages with that criteria (at least from what I can
see).

Is there any way to sort the Deleted Items (or any folder) by messages that
are unread?

Thanks.

What version of Outlook are you using?

Have you tried setting the View on your Deleted Items folder to be Unread
Items?

I have Outlook 2003.

How can I choose a "View Unopened Items" in my "Deleted Items" folder?

Thanks!
