File FilteringI did this before, but can find how or the option on my Outlook 2003
Professional. I want to DELETE a mail that is too big, from the server. I see how to do it AFTER I got the mail, I dont want that, I dont want to get it. Thanks Set your email account only download items of a certain size then check
mail. You'll get a header item for the 'big' mail item. Mark it for deletion then check mail again. To change the maximum size for downloaded items go here in Outlook: Tools menu > Send/Receive > Send/Receive settings > Define Send/Receive groups > Highlight the group you're using > Click Edit > Check the "Download only headers for items larger than" box and set the size Show quoteHide quote "Orlando Gondar" <gelectron***@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:uE8ZE$ybFHA.3184@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... >I did this before, but can find how or the option on my Outlook 2003 >Professional. > > I want to DELETE a mail that is too big, from the server. > > I see how to do it AFTER I got the mail, I dont want that, I dont want to > get it. I am trying to do this also. I can't check the 'download only headers' tick
box as it is greyed out. I am connecting to a remote exchange server via a VPN using windows XP. How can I get the 'download only headers tick box to be accessible? Thanks Martin Show quoteHide quote "Vince Averello [MVP-Outlook]" <vi***@omegageek.com> wrote in message news:uOzCQC1bFHA.2128@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > Set your email account only download items of a certain size then check > mail.
