Is there any way for Outlook to show a calendar in the navigation pane while
I am reading email?

That would be so useful to always have a calendar showing!!!

Not in the Navigation Pane, but while in your Inbox you can right-click the
Calendar folder and chose "Open in new window" and have the calendar
displayed simultaneously.

Hate having all  those windows open.

Would be great to see a simple calendar while I am working on emails.

Even to see the day's appointments in the navigation pane at the same time.
