weird OWA issue...seems like symptoms match a common problem but theres a twistworking for about 95% of our users. That 95% group can simply enter a simple http address like webmai.company.com into their browsers and they will be redirected to our real exchange mail server address via https. Problem is, there is a handful of folks that it wont work for that last 5%. When I say does not work, what I mean is that the redirect does not happen from http to https. The same user can go to a different machine and it will work for them. Thats the twist, based on everything I have read the symptoms indicate a virtual server issue, but if that was the case I would not expect this to be specific to particular machines! It certainly seems workstation specific, but I am not sure where to look at this point. In IE we have Integrated Authtority allowed and we have our wildcard domain suffix set in the intranet zones. Anyone else ever see this? Try posting this to an Exchange group. Despite its name, Outlook Web Access
is a function of Exchange, not Outlook. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading.
