I just got a laptop and networked it with my desktop. How do I transfer my
Outlook 2007 contacts on the desktop to Outlook 2007 on the laptop?

Thanks in advance

Contacts do not exist separately from other Outlook data.
Instructions on how to transfer Outlook data are posted here daily.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer:

With OL closed on both PC's copy the data file (by default outlook.pst, a
hidden file) to eg Documents on new PC.
Open OL on new PC, File>Open>Data File.........browse to this copied file.
Then copy whatever to your default data file, finally close the data file
when done
