Kmail ( which can save emails as maildir or mbox )formats

Ah. been there done that! What version of Outlook? (The procedure depends on
what version - outlook 2003 and prior can import from Netscape and Eudora -
Outlook 2007 only from Eudora)

then you have a choice - either install Eudora, or a 4.x version of
Netscape. Copy the mbox file(s) into your mail profile directory on either,
launch the program, open the mail folder (that builds the index file) then
you can import in Outlook.
