I'd say she just copy/pasted the entire post telling her to post here. Lisa, What version of Outlook? Basically, the inbox repair tool is scanpst.exe and you need to run that against your pst file. -- f.h. The Inbox repair tool is not actually located in your Inbox. It's a tool that
repairs the Inbox, so to speak. Use Windows Explorer to unhide all hidden files/folders. Make sure you also can view file extensions for known file types. Close Outlook. Locate your PST file. Do a file/folder search for scanpst.exe. Double-click it and follow the instructions and browse to your PST file. Let it run and find/repair errors. Repeat scanning the PST file until no errors are found. Open Outlook and let us know if this has helped. If you continue to have issues, please post the details but also include your version of Outlook, what type of email account you have (Exchange, POP3, etc.), any error messages and/or numbers and what they say (exactly, please), and what troubleshooting steps you've already taken so you're not told to do the same thing again. -- Show quoteKathleen Orland - MVP Outlook Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ http://www.howto-outlook.com/ "LisaLGK" wrote: > On Mon, 19 Nov 2007 03:28:00 -0800, LisaLGK > <Lisa***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: > > ¤ Yesterday Outlook stopped working on my computer.
