Print BCC field in outlook 2003So a lot of people say the BCC field never prints, but they are
wrong. It will print if you open your sent item and design the form (Tools/forms/design this form) Add the BCC field (under Address fields) and right click on BCC (Properties/validation) to enable printing. Publish the form, and now when you open the message you can print the BCC list. However, I can not figure out how to save this form so that it will apply to all of my sent items. Is this possible? That's usually not an issue - more people need to file printed copies and
need to include who it was sent to. Others hope to do this on incoming mail - which of course doesn't work. -- Show quoteDiane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-requ***@lists.outlooktips.net Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQU***@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM "Gordon" <gbpli***@gmail.com.invalid> wrote in message news:uRJu2SiJIHA.1204@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > "jasonb" <jason.borde***@gmail.com> wrote in message > news:1194976099.729822.323940@k79g2000hse.googlegroups.com... >> So a lot of people say the BCC field never prints, but they are >> wrong. I don't think electronic storage of histories has matured yet. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] I didn't say I agreed with it - but many businesses require printed copies
for various reasons that often only make sense to the person who made the decision to print everything. -- Show quoteDiane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-requ***@lists.outlooktips.net Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQU***@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM "Gordon" <gbpli***@gmail.com.invalid> wrote in message news:OQfZcVpJIHA.3356@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > "Diane Poremsky" <outlook***@msn.com> wrote in message > news:B3F84908-FA0B-45F6-832F-FEF6142975E0@microsoft.com... >> That's usually not an issue - more people need to file printed copies > > I have to say, as a Systems Accountant, I despair at the numbers of people > who can't see that electronic filing (as in a pst file) is FAR superior to > paper-based archive - when was the last time you carried a filing cabinet > in your pocket or briefcase? There is a program called formswap.exe put out by microsoft that will
allow your to change the default forms outlook uses. So that is how i got it to work for anyone interested they may contact me for further details. I can understand Jason's need for such a feature. We have departments
that would send out e-mails to clients, but do not wish them to see who else is getting this e-mail, however when it comes to monthly, or project reporting time, and a file needs to be generated then it is critical to be able to see all the recipients that got that specific e-mail. So that's one reason why Microsoft should allow the BCC fields to be printed from the sending account. Jason, not sure if this is what you're asking for but I used it for another form edit, so let me know (via e-mail if you like) but here is a similar situation where editting and publishing a form is required http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011456981033.aspx jasonb wrote: Show quote > So a lot of people say the BCC field never prints, but they are > wrong.
