Signature problems

I started a new job today within the same company. I neede to change
the signatures to reflect that change. I like the format another person
was using, so I copied their signature into Word and made the necessary
modifications. When I placed the modified signature into Outlook, the
signature did not appear when I started a new message. I could tell it
was there, but the font color was "light yellow". This was neither the
font color in the original signature nor in my modification. Any ideas?

What version of Outlook are you using?

If you go to Tools | Options | Mail Format | Signatures edit the signature
and check the font what do you learn?

When I went there initially, there was no color selected. I selected
black, OK, Ok, apply. Tried replying and still got yellow as the color.
I then repeated the process, but copied the signature into word and did
my editing there, setting the ont folor, size, etc, then pasted it back
into outlook. This time it took.

Thanks for your help.

The saga continues. A signature that worked fine yesterday, does not
work today. Even after I selft the font color of black, the signature
still shows up in yellow. I did notice that the APPLY key is not always
avabailable. Coule this be the issue?

Hmmm...at this point I'd be tempted to just scrap the existing signature
and create it new from scratch.
