What would you say is the biggest advantage AND biggest drawback to Exchange
cached mode in Outlook?

I can only speak from our experience:
Advantages - lower network traffic

Disadvantages - some 3rd party add-ins dont like it at all.

As a result, we have not been running in cached mode.
