the end of March as Sue has said. That should also mean that Microsoft should have the final version available before the end of the 1st quarter. In an ideal world Vista and Office 2007 will be released at the same time or within days of each other. Of course Microsoft will only release Vista + Office 2007 when they're 'ready' and not before. regards Robert Show quote "BobB" <RBowm***@Houston.RR.com> wrote in message news:L93Yg.47244$DU3.13165@tornado.texas.rr.com... > Are you saying even if the final retail version of Office 2207 comes out > in early of 2007 we will still be able to use the beta until the end of > March? > > Bob > > > "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" <sue***@outlookcode.com> wrote in message > news:uZGA%23jy7GHA.2092@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Applying Beta 2 Technical Refresh extends that to March. > > -- > Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP > Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 > http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm > and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for > Administrators, Power Users, and Developers > http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx > > "- Bobb -" <bobb@noemail.123> wrote in message > news:%23EAbt9x7GHA.4740@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >>I just went to the Office 2007 download area, logged in etc and saw: >> " Select each product you wish to download for a download service fee >> of >> $1.50 each " and expires in Feb 2007 >> >>> >>> "SaNdMaN" <SaNd***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >>> news:41CC6593-02E7-4E08-93CF-33D724D59A38@microsoft.com... >>>> The TR1 download won't do any good if you can't get Office 2007 beta >>>> 2 to >>>> install. Escrow them both and RTM them both within the next couple weeks, and they will release them both together to enterprise and public at their respective times for each. The concept of "when it's ready" went out the window shortly after Allchin announced the first delay and quickly morphed into the energy of marketing. The upgrade advisor is a crude marketing tool for more OEM preinstalled boxes. It has nothing whatsoever to do with reality if you've been testing Vista many builds on a lot of different machines. It puts out false information that is not accurate all the time. Startup repair is one of many features that doesn't work a high percentage of times--and isn't ready and isn't going to get any better.
