Attaching .exe filesCan't send .exe files. They get blocked because of the security setting.
Anyone know how to disable this? Read the warning again. Outlook never blocks your ability to send .exe files. What is does is caution that the recipient probably won't be able to run them.
Consider sending a .zip instead. -- Show quoteSue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "TChamp3121" <TChamp3***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7E5C50AE-172D-482F-AC9E-B2CEEB13B96C@microsoft.com... > Can't send .exe files. let me send it. When I check my "sent" folder, the file in the message is gone. I also sent it to myself with no luck. I need to find a way to disable this feature altogether. It was still sent.
I'd suggest that you stop concerning yourself with what *you* see and start thinking more clearly about what the recipient needs to get. If you want to see blocked files in your own folders, see http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm -- Show quoteSue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "TChamp3121" <TChamp3***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:F0F769D0-16EE-4217-AFB4-20896F3468B3@microsoft.com... > Sue, Thanks for the response.
