MAPI and signatures

I've been looking for info on this but found none.

Outlook (2003) is set up to use a signature for NEW and REPLY messages
and that works fine.

But, we have an application that uses MAPI to send data to Outlook to
send a new message. While it does this OK, Outlook does not include a
signature on this type of message.

Is there a way to make Outlook add a signature to a new message created
via MAPI????

Thanks

You're referring to Simple MAPI, which bypasses Outlook's functionality to provide a simplified mail message.

In short, no.

As I suspected. Thanks for the input.
