How do I export outlook express email addresses to outlook.  Everything I
have read says I cannot do it unless the programs are on the same computer.
There must be another way.  I cannot believe Microsoft created such a problem.

To what problem are you referring? What computer doesn't contain both
programs? None.

Actually, do the reverse.  Copy the *.wab file to the other PC, then use the
Import feature in Outlook.

False. Outlook cannot import a WAB. Only OE can.

Because you are importing it from OE. You cannot however, import a WAB file
directly, which you indicated you could.

In Outlook Express, click File>Export>Messages

True.

Why "must" there be another way?  What proof do you have that there is?

> I cannot believe Microsoft created such a problem.

Why do you consider it a problem?  Every single Windows machine sold
contains Outlook Express by default.  When you install Outlook, you then
have both programs on the same machine.  No problem at all.

While this part of my reply is inaccurate (I missed the word "addresses" in
the OP), the remainder is not and applies in any case.

For the record, it's best, in my opinion, to import addresses with Outlook
using File>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail and Addresses.
