Removing Certain Field Values In Contacts
Nathan Sokalski -
1 Apr 2006 6:20 AM - 8 messages
I use Outlook 2003 as a "middle-man" for synchronizing my PocketPC and Hotmail Calendar and Contacts. When Outlook 2003 displays the contacts, the implication I am getting from what I see is that if a field does not currently have a value, it is not displayed. However, several, but not all, of my contacts display a field named "Reminder:" with a value of "No" when I view the list of contacts from within Outlook 2003. If I try to remove this value by editing the contact from within Outlook 2003 it automatically gives it a value of "No", therefore causing the contact to continue to display the field. Even though this does not have any effect that I have noticed in Hotmail or PocketPC contacts, it increases the amount of scrolling I need to do to see all the contacts in Outlook 2003, and I am guessing takes up a little bit more memory. Two questions: ...
